DENTAL WATERLINE SHOCK AND TREATMENT PRODUCTS
Shock Products
‘Shock’ refers to a more aggressive treatment product that is intended to reduce microbial contamination. In some cases, shock products are also capable of removing biofilm. Generally, waterlines need to be ‘shocked’ before a routine treatment product can be effective.

‘Treatment’ refers to a low-level antimicrobial product that is intended to maintain microbial contamination. Most treatment products require the source water being used to already meeting drinking water standards of less than or equal to 500 CFU/mL and less than or equal to 500 ppm TDS.
